My Story
Wisdom from Life's Experiences
In 2010, I was diagnosed with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. I suffered in silence for many years from the trauma of incest & abuse. I was physically & emotionally abused by family & husband & I went through 14 years of estrangement from my children. To cope I struggled with unhealthy behaviours, one being compulsive over-eating & binging. I had no ideal I was suffering so profoundly and believed life was just this way.
When I experienced enough suffering I had a spiritual awakening. I then made a life-altering decision to learn to love myself, sought help & and began my journey of truth.
In 2018, Learned to Love Myself was born. Today I no longer suffer from PTSD. I am a mental wellness activist & philanthropist & I fundraise for mental health through my services & products. I teach everything I learned so others struggling from being traumatized can learn, manage & leave their misery of anxiety & depression. I take all the tools & wisdom from my experiences and share so others can live mindfully and peacefully.
In 2019, I began drawing doodled artwork to inspire myself & others to have mindfulness & inner peace. The colouring book series: Love, Kindness, & Compassion was created. Colouring daily I kept my mental health well & today help others with my mindfulness art sessions. Giving made me feel good & I would leave positive notes in people's mailboxes and windshields providing me a way to spread love. That led to the creation of the Love, Kindness & Compassion colouring cards so others could give love too. Today, my artwork can be purchased on many mediums. As I healed my intuition evolved and so I assist others to manifest their desires through Intuitive Spiritual Readings.
I donate proceeds to mental health organizations & the community hoping to help others with their mental & spiritual wellness through sales. I hope to help change the world with more love. I host a podcast, The Power Hour of Self-Care of The Mental Health Warriors & my guests & I discuss topics of self-care & ending the stigma of mental illness. I am very passionate about our wellness.
